Susan Foster, M.Ed, CRC
Susan is the owner and President of Vista Vocational, Inc. since the business started in 1999. She has a Master of Education degree, specializing in Curriculum Development and Instructional Technology, earned from Northwest Christian University in Eugene, Oregon. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications from the University of Oregon. She is a nationally Certified Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), Certified Vocational Counselor in the State of Oregon, and Qualified Rehabilitation Counselor with the U.S. Dept. of Labor Office of Workers’ Compensation, and the State of Alaska. Susan is a dually Certified Professional Human Resource Manager through the Human Resource Certification Institute and Society of Human Resource Managers. Susan began working in the vocational rehabilitation field in 1983, providing a full range of vocational and consulting services to support both workers and employers in creating positive return to work outcomes, particularly in the workers’ compensation industry. In addition to vocational counseling, Susan has served as a court qualified vocational expert in a wide variety of legal venues including Social Security Administration, Personal Injury, Employment and Family Law, and Longshore and Harbor worker’s Act. In an ongoing effort to remain current and connected to the world of work, Susan is a member of the National and State Chapters of the Association of Rehabilitation Professionals, an Advisory Board Member with Lane Community College Occupational Skills Training, active member of the Cooperative Education Internship Association, as well as National and State Chapters of the Human Resource Managers Association. When not at work, Susan is active in the out of doors, enjoying golfing, hiking, gardening and enthusiastically supporting the University of Oregon Duck football team with her husband and son. |
Jennifer Donaca, Office Manager
Jeni Donaca is the Office Manager of Vista Vocational, Inc. and also supports our clients as an Employment Specialist. Jeni has a broad range of experience working both in the public and private sector possessing strong administrative, computer and accounting experience. As an Employment Specialist, Jeni works with our clients supporting job search skill instruction, resume/cover letter development, and job development activities. Aside from work activities, Jeni has volunteered at the Churchill High School Career Center, where she assisted students in career/academic testing, exploration, and college prep and school-to-work activities. She also developed and maintained the Career Center website, keeping the student body and parents up to date regarding career related opportunities. Jeni enjoys creative digital technology, healthy lifestyle cooking, yoga, gardening and spending time with her daughter and husband. |
